The Business Customer Marketing team leads all our fixed and mobile go-to-market (GTM) activities targeting the mid-market business space in collaboration with multiple cross functional teams including Product, Marketing Communications, Digital, Direct Sales & Enablement in achieving our goal of creating long term sustainable growth for our business customers.

Our Senior Program Manager role will work in collaboration with multiple cross functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Care & Customer Solutions Delivery and various other Enablement teams in achieving our goal of creating long term sustainable growth for our business customers. In this role, you wear several hats: strategic influencer, consultant, analyst, forecaster and story teller. You will help establish, monitor and assess key programs to make ongoing iterations so that we are developing solutions that truly resonate with our customers and help deliver a greater customer experience.

As a Senior Program Manager, you're not afraid to dive deep into the details as required but can easily synthesize and communicate with senior leaders and stakeholders in support of key initiatives or programs. You are a pragmatic, no-nonsense team member that enjoys complex business problems. Your counsel is equal parts logic, analysis and strategy. You have a natural curiosity and you appreciate that failure and vulnerability are healthy ways to learn and grow.

Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together

As a Senior Program Manager, you will be leading process improvement programs that impact the Sales & Marketing teams, with focus on strategy, business case development, initiatives prioritization, and project management & implementation. You will lead and manage putting structure around the many internal initiatives that are required to enable our organization to more effectively service our customers.

You will collaborate with both the core leadership team and cross-functional teams to support the following key activities:
    •Profitable Growth Index management and reporting for our Vice President for Sales •Partner Enablement Strategy & Optimization (PSO) initiative management and executive reporting •Management of various process improvement projects already underway that impact Business Sales & Marketing •Be the interface with the broader process improvement teams to ensure linkages to ongoing initiatives are communicated effectively & efficiently to the Sales & Marketing teams •Influence and shape practices, standards and procedures for pre-sales and sales team members

    •Establish a collection of on-going projects/programs to facilitate consistent communication of status and benefit •Facilitate dynamic workshops and deep-dives to drive forward initiatives •Using your business and financial acumen to lead the creation of business cases •Provide accurate and timely target/objective updates to executive audiences that track progress on identified key programs •Partner with primes and key stakeholders from Sales, Marketing, Business Intelligence & Delivery teams to successfully lead and manage the implementation of product forecasts by region and segment •Lead analysis and prepare executive-level summary reports to support decision making and drive operational effectiveness •Work with cross functional teams, field teams and our leadership team to develop recommendations, define key success measures and create the project plan to execute •Constantly look for ways to improve how we execute through regular post mortems and assessments


You're the missing piece of the puzzle

You can play the role of consultant and have exceptional collaboration, relationship management, influencing and negotiation skills, including compelling storytelling and an ability to present to executive audiences. With your financial & business acumen includes the ability to understand and integrate all internal & external drivers: i.e. Economics, Operations, etc., that impact problem solving and decision making, as well as an understanding of pricing & marketing levers and their impacts to business.

You are likely in a similar marketing or program management position today and possess many of the traits and experience points below:
    •Proven hypothesis-driven approach to analyzing problems with an ability to zoom in and uncover insights that inform actionable decisions •Flexible presentation & communication skills for executive & front line audiences •Ability to navigate complex teams and collaborate with influence, with a demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders to gain buy-in •Proven track record for consistently delivering results and effectively meeting program milestones •Outstanding business & financial acumen with the ability to anticipate and develop strategies in a rapidly evolving telecommunication industry •Strong analytical and critical thinking skills coupled with superior ability to creatively solve problems •Recipient of a bachelor degree or post-secondary diploma in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent education and/or experience

    •Strong organizational and project management skills and the ability to handle multiple initiatives and prioritize effectively •Familiarity working with Tableau •Desire to continuously improve your skill set and our team's processes to optimize GTM planning, communication, project management and stakeholder engagement •Business undergraduate or master degree and/or 5+ years of equivalent combination of experience & education •Experience managing complex projects and strong stakeholder management

Please note: There are multiple Senior Program Manager opportunities in Western Canada on this same team. One will be focused on Mobility, the others on wireline & Information & Communications Technology (ICT) solutions.
