SAP Analytics Cloud is SAP's strategic offering in the analytics portfolio and a cornerstone in SAP's strategy for the intelligent enterprise. Enabling organizations to understand what is happening and plan across their entire business with analytics, predictive, and planning in one solution. This position is with the SAP Analytics Cloud Augmented BI and Enterprise Planning product management team. Our team is spread across Europe, North America, and Asia and is responsible for outbound and inbound product management. From driving SAP Analytics Cloud's strategy and roadmap to assisting sales and go-to-market plans.

This role is a combination of inbound and outbound product management that requires a self-directed, intensely curious, and data driven team player. In this role you would be managing complex analytics and enterprise planning features as part of the overall SAP Analytics Cloud product. Conducting market research, contributing to strategy, identify opportunities, and defining the roadmap for your areas of ownership. Collaborating with UX, engineering, and other product experts to focus on the highest value priorities, while tactfully pushing through resistance to change where encountered. You would also be a product expert at a detailed level. Fully able to engage with customers, sales, and marketing to present and position the product. Ensuring revenue and customer satisfaction goals are achieved.

Location preference is Vancouver, Canada but open to SAP locations within North America or Europe.

Expected travel is 10-20%

Role Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of product management in a B2B environment
  • Proven track record of building a product (feature) vision and then leading the execution of the vision by detailing strategy, roadmap, and scoping in a product/solution area
  • Domain knowledge of analytics, business intelligence, and enterprise planning
  • Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud or other BI and Planning related software
  • Must be data driven with strong analytical and quantitative skills to identify opportunities and measure success
  • Technical and business acumen
  • Ability to work with developers, QA, UX, Technical Support, Sales, and Consulting as a strong team player
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment with a growth mindset and bias for action
  • Work effectively in a diverse global team environment with complex products and projects. Including having humility and being open to giving and receiving feedback
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong hands-on mindset
  • University degree in engineering/computer science or business administration

  • International business experience
  • Deep expertise in analytics, business intelligence, and enterprise planning and the business processes in those areas (e.g. Finance, Workforce, Sales, Supply Chain, etc.)
  • Knowledge of machine learning
