We are looking for a seasoned individual familiar with delivering intuitive experiences for a complex product. As Product Owner of Mobile App for My TELUS, you will be responsible for executing and evolving the digital experience to make it easier for customers to manage their account on Mobile App. Drive the strategy and evolution of the mobile app platform and capabilities. You'll help foster and build strong relationships with stakeholders to effectively prioritize initiatives and drive digital adoption. You will work with stakeholders to define customer experiences that balance both customer and business needs. Manage and prioritize a backlog of user driven stories - reflecting both customer value and effort to deliver. Adjust road maps and backlogs to reflect accurate scope, effort and priority information as it becomes available. You will be working as a part of a friendly, cross-disciplinary agile team who helps each other solve problems across all functions. Your understanding of accessibility, design, and user experience will be essential in meeting the expectations of our customers.

    •Inspire your team with the customer goals, product vision and provide a big picture narrative to the team •Understand TELUS business and customer priorities, play a key role in driving those outcomes •Be the voice of the customer and tell the Product Story, ensure data and research underpin everything we do •Own the vision, backlog, roadmap and prioritization of digital experiences in partnership with stakeholders to achieve our goals •Build relationships and liaise with a diverse group of cross-functional stakeholders within the organization; collaborate on interdependent roadmaps and technology investments to achieve mutual business outcomes •Rally support from across TELUS to maximize adoption of your products •Proactively find new opportunities to generate value or delight customers •Be accountable for product KPIs and reporting on progress, keeping our key partners up-to-speed •Manage expectations and remove business and roadmap impediments •Find ways to quickly iterate and optimize your product to get the most out of our investments •Accountable for the product overall health including security, accessibility and performance


Qualifications:


You're the missing piece of the puzzle
    •Experience as a Product Owner in a digital team or company (4+ years), including hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle •Strong foundation in and knowledge of Agile process and principles •Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills •Organizational and time management skills •Ability to think critically, sharp analytical and problem-solving skills •Creative thinker with an ability to define and execute on a vision •Familiarity with working with analytics, data platforms, and user testing to drive outcomes

Great-to-haves
    •Certifications in Agile and Scrum methodologies •Technical background with knowledge of software development and app technologies
