Job Description
Compliance Transformation - Individual Contributor (Strategy & Executive Communications)

Role Summary

This role is an individual contributor supporting enterprise Compliance transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will bring prior management consulting or strategy experience and demonstrate exceptional capability in translating complex compliance, risk, and operating model concepts into clear, compelling, and executive-ready PowerPoint materials.

The role partners closely with senior Compliance leaders and program owners to shape narratives, develop transformation roadmaps, and support regulatory and audit-related deliverables through high-quality written and visual outputs.

As part of the interview process, candidates may be asked to complete a sample of work product (e.g., PowerPoint deck, executive memo, or strategy deliverable).

Key Accountabilities
CUSTOMER / STAKEHOLDER PARTNERSHIP
  • Serve as a trusted individual contributor supporting Compliance transformation programs (e.g., operating model changes, governance enhancements, remediation programs, strategic initiatives).
  • Partner with senior Compliance leaders and key stakeholders to:
  • Shape strategic narratives
  • Develop executive-level materials for leadership, Audit Committee, and regulators
  • Translate complex regulatory or control concepts into concise, decision-oriented outputs.
  • Develop high-quality presentations, frameworks, and storyline-driven decks to support:
  • Transformation planning and progress updates
  • Regulatory, audit, and exam responses
  • Business cases, roadmaps, and operating model designs.
  • Incorporate feedback from executives and stakeholders, iterate quickly, and adjust materials to meet evolving expectations.
  • Support special projects and enterprise initiatives requiring structured problem-solving, synthesis, and clear communication.

SHAREHOLDER / ENTERPRISE VALUE
  • Contribute to the development and execution of Compliance transformation strategies that:
  • Enhance governance, oversight, and control effectiveness
  • Improve clarity, consistency, and scalability of Compliance programs.
  • Apply consulting-style methodologies (e.g., hypothesis-driven analysis, structured problem solving, storyboarding) to deliver actionable insights.
  • Identify opportunities to improve how Compliance transformation information is communicated, socialized, and escalated across the enterprise.
  • Ensure all deliverables align with TD enterprise frameworks, Compliance standards, and regulatory expectations.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging regulatory, risk, and industry trends to inform analysis and recommendations.

DELIVERY & WORK PRODUCT EXCELLENCE

  • Produce polished, executive-ready deliverables, including:
  • PowerPoint decks with strong storylines and visual clarity
  • Written summaries, executive updates, and briefing notes
  • Frameworks, roadmaps, and operating model visuals.
  • Independently manage assigned deliverables from concept through final output, with minimal direction.
  • Demonstrate rigorous attention to detail, version control, and quality assurance across all materials.
  • Balance multiple priorities while meeting tight timelines typical of senior-level and regulatory deliverables.

BREADTH & DEPTH

  • Operates autonomously as a senior individual contributor with significant exposure to executive leadership.
  • Influences outcomes through insight, communication quality, credibility, and structured thinking rather than formal authority.
  • Applies deep understanding of Compliance, risk management, and transformation concepts to develop compelling narratives and materials.
  • Facilitates strategic discussions through well-designed content that supports decision-making.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
  • Undergraduate degree required.
  • 7-10+ years of relevant experience, with a strong preference for:
  • Management consulting, internal strategy, or transformation roles
  • Experience supporting executive-level audiences.
  • Demonstrated expertise in:
  • Building high-impact PowerPoint presentations
  • Storyboarding complex topics for senior stakeholders
  • Compliance, risk, regulatory, or control environments (financial services strongly preferred).
  • Exceptional written and visual communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint required.

Additional Notes
A sample of work product may be requested during the interview process to assess communication, structure, and visual storytelling capability.
