The Development and Learning (D&L) Team at TELUS is passionate about guiding and implementing the learning, leadership, collaboration and career development needs of our team members both today and into the future. The D&L Team partners with the business to develop, implement, and support meaningful and sustainable learning strategies that enable all 25,000 team members to become their best selves. This team has the opportunity to partner on some of the most exciting cultural initiatives at TELUS, using their boundless energy and creativity. You are an energetic self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, demanding and rewarding team environment. You will be in a pivotal role where you are engaged in the hands-on design, development and delivery of leadership development to engage and motivate learners. You are able to develop strong recommendations based on analytics and insight to ensure we are getting better every day. Your influential collaboration skills build effective relationships with multiple stakeholders, to create world class experiences for our team members.Here's how
•Support key learning initiatives including managing project scope from concept through to successful execution. Prepare project reporting updates and ensure timely identification of project issues, risks and challenges.
•Work closely with Subject Matter Experts and key client stakeholders, create and maintain enterprise wide learning and development that supports business strategy and enables the attainment of business goals and objectives including: the design, development and delivery of leadership materials/curriculum, course outlines, facilitator and participant guides, exercise guides, job aids, show me videos, and site content (i.e. google sites, jam sites, etc.)
•Design innovative, creative and effective marketing and communications to keep all team members connected, informed, and inspired about development opportunities at TELUS Qualifications:You're the missing piece of the puzzle
•Recognized for skills around analysis and problem identification. Makes strong decisions based on analysis and experience
•Project management skills with a focus on quality and risk mitigation.
•Able to influence and motivate people outside of an authority relationship, and forge productive and lasting relationships across all areas of TELUS.
•Comfortable with ambiguity, having the ability to create tangible and strategically sound plans out of abstract ideas, ability to quickly adapt and shift focus across many levels of information
•Ability to think outside the box and suggest creative, innovative design ideas
•Stays current with adult learning theories, leadership approaches, professional development advances and advances in learning and collaboration innovation
•Strong team player with self-discipline and motivation to work independently.
•Fully proficient in Google Suite
•Exceptional verbal and written communications skills Great-to-haves
•Bilingual an asset
•Experience in event planning/management
•University degree in a related field (HR, adult learning, instructional design, etc.) or equivalent recognized certification / relevant experience
•Experience working developing learning materials, communications and web content (Jam, Google sites, WebEx) A bit about us
