We are currently looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer for a fulltime position with our company. The ideal candidate will be someone who is looking for a more relaxing job, and around 10 years from retirement, and we will consider all qualified candidates.

Our company is an incorporated company who provids geotechnical consulting and materials testing services in British Columbia. The company was established in 1995 and is located in Langley, British Columbia. As a medium sized company our team currently consists of engineers, technologists and technicians.                                                                                                                                                           Our corporate goal is to provide quality engineering services to our clients in an efficient and timely manner, by striving towards practical engineering solutions.

We are currently seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. This position will involve working on projects ranging from small residential applications to large scale developments primarily in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. Experience in a broad range of geotechnical applications is required. This position greatly emphasizes interaction with fellow employees, consultants, contractors and the general public.

Background for an ideal candidate includes:

• minimum of 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering
• professional Engineer registered (or eligible) with APEG
• excellent hand written and verbal communication skills
• excellent mathematical skills and organizational skills
• the ability to work well in a team environment and independently
• ability to mentor fellow employees
• a driver’s license with a vehicle.

Responsibilities of the successful applicant could include:

• Project management
• Business development
• Design for various project scopes
• Report and proposal writing
• Site reviews
• Mentoring fellow employees
