Job Title: Senior Consultant – BlackLine
Location: Vancouver, BC
Work Model: Contract 6-12 months
Compensation: $80 - $90 per hour

This contract role supports a large, nationally recognized professional services organization undergoing a finance transformation initiative. You’ll play a key role in optimizing financial close processes, implementing BlackLine modules, and supporting system‑driven improvements across a multi‑entity environment. This is an ideal opportunity for a finance professional with strong systems experience who enjoys project‑based work, cross‑functional collaboration, and driving operational excellence.
What You’ll Be Doing
- BlackLine Transaction Matching — configuring, testing, and optimizing matching rules to support automated reconciliations.
- Systems Implementations — participating in end‑to‑end implementation activities, including requirements gathering, UAT, and deployment.
- Finance Transformation — supporting process redesign, workflow improvements, and standardization across the close cycle.
- Financial Systems Support — troubleshooting issues, documenting processes, and ensuring data integrity across integrated platforms.
- Project Collaboration — working with finance, technology, and PMO teams to deliver milestones and ensure successful adoption.
Qualifications
- BlackLine expertise with hands‑on experience in Transaction Matching (must‑have).
- Systems implementation experience within finance, ERP, or financial close tools.
- Finance transformation background supporting process improvement or modernization initiatives.
- Financial systems proficiency (ERP, subledgers, close tools).
- Visio or project management skills considered an asset.
