TELUS has built an exciting, aggressive, and lucrative National I.T. Referral Program for its products and services and we are looking for an individual to work alongside the Director of Channel Sales to leverage the program within the I.T. VAR, MSP, telecom broker, agents, and other businesses, both in BC as well as nationally.
You will develop and recruit partners to successfully promote and refer TELUS services - from our connectivity and network backbone, to managed services, security solutions, cloud, unified communication, IoT and mobility.
This is a well-established performing territory that is in terrific shape, with 50 existing channel partners and growing. This role has aggressive quota targets, and it will be demanding. But with great expectations and performance, will come great rewards.Here's how you will be successful:
In this role, you will act as the quarterback responsible for identifying, developing, and expanding relationships within the reseller community - small and large, by:
•Recruiting new partners by promoting the benefits of the TELUS Associates Channel Program Why you will love this opportunity:

You are likely in a similar role, today, with 8+ years' experience in a face to face channel partner sales environment. Or, you are an existing top performing TELUS sales executive. You will be asked to demonstrate your relationships within the I.T. VAR, DMR, MSP, consulting, and the general reseller community within the various geographic regions of BC. You have knowledge of the IT landscape, or experience in similar complex solution environments. You have knowledge of or experience with most of the items below:

•Proven ability to create corporate relationships between TELUS and our partners that are characterized by mutual trust and respect for the TELUS value proposition
•Strong EQ (emotional intelligence) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
•Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel as required; the territory is all of BC, so 25-50% travel outside of your city is expected post-covid19
