Senior Account Executive - INTERNATIONAL

The Senior Account Executive - International role at Clevest could be the right fit for your next big career move. Clevest is currently recruiting high-energy, driven Account Executives with relevant knowledge of B2B sales and value driven sales approach. Ideal candidates should possess new business sales experience and an understanding of the utilities sector within International Markets.

You will be responsible for securing new business and up-selling to existing major electric, gas & water utility accounts within an assigned geographic territory. Sales will be achieved via direct selling to end customers within your assigned, International territory, and also through Clevest's established partner channel. This position requires an individual with demonstrable complex software solution sales experience. Clevest offers competitive compensation packages commensurate with previous experience.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Achieve sales quota
  • Qualify and win new business by driving the complete sales cycle, including:
    • Identifying customer needs/demands
    • Managing and supporting sales through existing channel partners and representatives
    • Understanding and mapping out customer organization decision makers and buying process
    • Making presentations to customers at a senior level
    • Contributing to and managing RFI/RFP responses
    • Negotiating/closing deals
  • Report all sales activities via
  • Work and communicate effectively with internal Clevest stakeholders
  • Develop account sales plans

Desired qualifications, experience, competencies and attributes of the successful candidate:

  • Experience in complex system software sales to electric, gas or water utilities
    • A background in mobile / workforce automation applications and/or software-based solutions for utility companies is considered an asset
  • A minimum 3 years of proven experience selling software-based solutions B2B
  • Highly motivated, creative problem solver, agile thinker
  • Proven strategic and tactical selling skills
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Undergraduate degree
