Security Technician

Local security alarm systems integrator is looking for an EXPERIENCED security technician.

Applicant must have experience in the following areas:

• Security systems (DSC, GE, 2GIG and Honeywell)
• CCTV and IP video surveillance systems
• Home and business automation
• Kantech Access control (an asset)
• Networking

Background & Skills:

• Strong work ethic
• Career minded and driven 
• Ability to work on a team as well as independently to complete tasks and installations according to the companies’ standards
• Customer service orientated
• Have a valid class 5 driver’s license, clean driving record (must provide a drivers abstract)
• Tools of the trade (tool pouch, low voltage tools, hard hat, CSA steel boots and other required technician tools)
• Valid security installer license & security TQ
• Possess strong communication skills (verbal and written English)

This position will require you to drive to multiple sites per day completing installs and service calls, and have the ability to carry the basic install tools and a ladder (provided by the company) or other required tools to complete the installs and or service calls.
