As a Security Consultant II on the Cyber Security Delivery team, you will implement and integrate various security solutions such as Firewalls, VPN, IPS, Web Content Filtering and identity management. Delivering a variety of security related technology projects, you will exceed customer expectations by ensuring they are set up to have a safe and secure environment.

As a customer-focused security professional, you will:
    •Lead hands-on deployment and configuration experience with Security products such as Cisco ASA, Cisco FirePower/FTD Firewalls within Medium size Businesses and-or large organizations •Ensure timely execution, clear communication of risks, and profitable delivery of firewall solutions •Provide advice, guidance, and direction by developing repeatable work methods, standards for firewall solutions •Architect, design, and capacity plan complex and multi-vendor security solutions including planning and organizing your work based on multiple project timelines and priorities •Make timely and logical decisions by analyzing diverse information streams, evaluating options and formulating recommendations in order to resolve deployment challenges •Support sales engineers as well as design engineers during presales phase and participate as required on Proof of Concept and Pilot engagements •Security operations support with after hours on call team rotation duties


You're the missing piece of the puzzle
    •3-5 years of experience in Security Solutions including technical knowledge of engineering, computer and network security, security protocols •Security operations center experience •Confident in your advanced foundation in networking architecture and protocols based on the OSI model from layer 1 to 7 •Regarded for your focus on TCP/UDP/IP protocols and your deep understanding of their function and design •Respected for your knowledge of security products including functional and design concepts across the entire information management lifecycle: Cisco ASA firewalls, Cisco FirePower/FTD Firewalls and content filtering solutions, Cisco ISE •Committed to continuous personal development to maintain and enhance technical security knowledge •Degree in Computer Science or Engineering •Canadian Government Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain •Availability for evening and weekend work as required
    •Vendor certifications such as: Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, RSA, Websense, SolarWinds, etc •Experience in network and application-level security testing/review •CISSP, SANS/GIAC, SABSA •Fluency in French & English (Bilingualism)
