In this 12 month opportunity as an Account Specialist
, you are a self-starter, someone who will hunt, prospect, search and close opportunities, specifically targeting business clients that operate within the Small Business space.What we offer you:

Our highly motivated team is committed to managing and growing the small business customer base and growing market share across Canada. We deliver best-in-class customer service and use a customer first lens for strategy development, lead generation, and marketing and sales execution.Here's how
•Provide a suite of TELUS Business solutions to local business clients that operate within the Small Business space in a defined area
•Bring an entrepreneurial spirit, and search and source new business clients to achieve and deliver on growth and profitability targets by cold calling, door knocking, networking and local events
•Deliver on our customer first promise by fostering relations, and building trust and loyalty with business owners and stakeholders
•Understand and analyze current and prospective business needs to recommend customized solutions with prompt and efficient service
•Deliver accurate and timely forecast, funnel management, target/objective updates
•Negotiate and use your problem solving skills to influence and manage client lifecycle
•Act as TELUS ambassador within your community and promote the TELUS brand
•Travel to meet clients within your designated area and present business solutions
•Be a subject matter expert on our business products and services Qualifications:Do you have what it takes?
•Post-secondary and/or equivalent experience
•2+ years sales experience (wireless industry not required, considered an asset)
•Client Relationship Management experience preferred
•Valid "G" driver's license, vehicle, and ability for frequent travel
•Passionate about creating best-in-class customer experiences
•Outgoing, friendly, enthusiastic, sociable and praised for cultivating relationships
•Contagious positive attitude, and ability to adapt to everyday changes
•Effective communication and presentation skills and confident in leveraging your business acumen skills
•Known to be a creative thinker
•Strong judgement, problem solving, and negotiating skill
•A self-starter that is not afraid of a challenge and has relentless focus on growing your client group
