Who are we looking for:

Rogers Sports & Media is seeking a Local Sales Coordinator to play a pivotal role in our commitment to best-in-class customer service.

This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of all facets of internal and external customer facing service, including, high-level and intuitive maintenance of the integrity of each media campaign purchased throughout its life cycle and communicating with clients with updates, changes and post-campaign reporting. Working with integrated order management systems such as S4M, and Wide Orbit. The Sales Coordinator will oversee day to day campaign management with direct input from account managers.

Our Sales Coordinators are self-motivated and detail focused, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. They have a positive problem-solving, learning focused attitude with a view that no challenge is unattainable and take pride in a job well done.

What you will do:

  • Provide exceptional support to a team of sales professionals to assist in the retention of advertising revenue across multiple media platforms including television and radio.
  • Input and maintain sales booking orders across various systems.
  • Assist in the internal management of the sales cycle through revenue reporting, postings, post-reporting, optimizations, pre-emptions, billings and collections.
  • Liaise with other departments including Sales Promotions, Commercial Production, Revenue Management, Commercial Traffic, and Accounting.
  • Provided comprehensive office administrative duties assisting Sales and Management
  • Operate within the Rogers Sports & Media sales guidelines and uphold Rogers values.

Adept at understanding client needs and conveying product or service benefits clearly. Maintains a professional, approachable demeanor in all client interactions.
  • Organizational and time management skills: Able to multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Able to handle administrative tasks with precision and update key customer data
  • Creative / Problem Solver: Seeks creative ways to anticipate potential roadblocks and provide solutions.
  • Growth mindset: Strives for continual personal learning and development. Views obstacles and challenges as learning opportunities
  • Team Collaboration: Works effectively with sales and support teams, contributing to a positive team environment. Maintains open communication with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Technical acumen: MS Office Suite and CRM systems
