The Role

This role involves identifying ‘enterprise fit’ inbound sales leads from multiple channels (website inquiries, references, social, conference attendees etc.), engaging with them in a helpful, friendly way and pre-qualifying them for a further discovery call with an Account Manager. As you are typically the first connection a customer has with OfficeSpace, this is a critical touch point along the customer journey. You will also be working with our Account Executives to re-engage previous prospects, and find expansion opportunities with existing clients, as well as their network of contacts through referrals.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that all inbound leads are reviewed and categorized by segment
  • Performing background research on the lead and company to find any relevant information and ensuring we have a good understanding of how we can help them
  • Pre-qualifying ‘enterprise fit’ leads based on the key factors OfficeSpace has laid out
  • Setting up and attending discovery calls to understand key information such as need, budget, and current processes. The goal of these calls is to set up the next call with an Account Manager for a more in-depth discussion and software demo
  • Taking relevant notes and documenting them in HubSpot CRM
  • Taking what you are learning about our prospects and customers and being an active participant in the discussion with marketing around targeted campaigns for new customer acquisition and re-engagement campaigns
  • Constantly looking for new, more efficient processes or tools to improve the qualification process
  • Continuously re-examine the deal pipeline to ensure that prospects at ‘early/research’ or ‘keep in touch’ stages are being contacted periodically
  • Staying up-to-speed on product updates and upcoming features
  • Tracking contacts and leads using our CRM and external tools like LinkedIn
  • Working closely with our Account Executives and Client Services teams to identify clients who can act as referrals and references
  • Work with Sales and Marketing to benchmark existing clients and research opportunities for growth, expansion and upsells

Requirements

  • We are looking for someone with 2+ years in a sales role with a tech company - preferably SaaS based
  • You are a great active listener and have a natural knack for sales
  • You are a detail oriented multi-tasker with proven experience keeping track of lots of things without dropping the ball
  • You have superior organizational skills. Disorganization drives you crazy and you like taking the initiative to ensure all aspects of your work flow in a logical order and in an efficient and organized way
  • You have the ability to easily connect with others
  • You are sincere and genuine when selling our products to clients - not aggressive or “salesy”
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling software solutions to enterprise companies (200-10,000 employees)
  • Formal sales training
  • HubSpot CRM experience is an asset but not required
