Remote IT Support Specialist — Work From Home

Job Description:
We are seeking a knowledgeable, patient, and customer-focused Remote IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to employees and customers. The successful candidate will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, assist users remotely, maintain IT systems, and ensure technical problems are resolved efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support through phone, email, chat, and remote-access tools.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computers, applications, and peripherals.
Assist users with account access, passwords, and software-related issues.
Diagnose and resolve technical problems or escalate complex issues when necessary.
Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
Assist with software updates, system maintenance, and security procedures.
Support employees with Microsoft 365, Windows, macOS, and other business applications.
Monitor recurring technical issues and recommend improvements.
Maintain confidentiality and follow company IT security policies.

Requirements:

Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, networking, and common business applications.
Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
Ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Reliable high-speed internet connection and suitable home-office setup.
IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ are an advantage.
