You're a self-starter who enjoys working with others. You adapt to new priorities with ease and possess strong interpersonal skills. As the Reliability Engineering Co-op, you'll use your problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and enhance our operator inspection program. You'll work with tradespeople, lubrication mechanics, and support reliability engineers with data mining and analysis.
Using your resourcefulness, you will apply tools and techniques to develop projects and meet project goals. You will become familiar with the pulp and paper production process as you work in all areas of the plant including fibreline, steam and recovery, and chip handling. This is the opportunity you've been looking for!
Ideally, you have a minimum of two years completed in a Mechanical Engineering Program and for bonus points have completed a Co-Op assignment. Previous pulp mill or heavy industrial experience would accentuate your application but are not needed to apply.
