The IT/IQ team is growing and we need a highly driven, experienced sales professional to join our fast – paced and dynamic team!

About the Job: You will work as part of a young and lively team that is committed to growing IT/IQ’s market share. You will have the opportunity to develop your sales and relationship abilities by connecting IT professionals with the right organization and opportunity in a highly competitive market. You will be responsible for communicating opportunities to passive (non-seeking) candidates, negotiating contracts and ultimately obtaining key business for IT/IQ. 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate qualified candidates through job boards, job postings, an internal database and referrals
  • Screen, interview and qualify potential candidates
  • Develop sales leads and play an integral role in the business development process
  • Coordinate with our team of recruiters for different souring avenues and share candidate networks with your team
  • Gather candidate background information and enter information into the applicant tracking systems 
  • Coordinate interviews and facilitate the hiring process with our clients
  • Negotiate salaries, benefits and contract rates as well as interact with candidates on all issues through prompt and thorough follow ups
  • Conduct and coordinate references and prepare candidates for our clients’ boarding processes
  • Manage current contract employees through weekly follow ups, lunches and general working events
  • Develop, manage and expand existing candidate and client relationships
  • Thrive within a competitive, fast-paced and team orientated environment

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of professional recruitment experience in either engineering or IT recruitment
  • Minimum of two years of international recruitment experience
  • Minimum of two years’ experience building and maintaining long-term professional relationships
  • Experience leading a team of recruitment professionals
  • Bachelor’s degree or a diploma from a post-secondary institution 
  • Interest in working in a competitive, fun and dynamic sales driven organization and industry
  • An outgoing, engaging personality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good business sense and passion to learn
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours
