Recruiter

Our client is one of Canada’s largest and most well-known employers and they have a 6-month temporary assignment for someone with solid full-cycle recruiting experience.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring the placement of high-performing talent through internal and external hiring. In partnership with hiring managers and HR business partners, you will help plan for the evolving needs of the business and introduce recruitment processes that attract and retain top candidates.

What’s In It For You

In this role, you’ll be earning between $28-29 per hour and an additional 4% pay in lieu of vacation.

What You'll Do

• Create recruiting and interviewing plans and determine their effectiveness
• Consistently augment a pool of qualified candidates
• Create job descriptions, manage job adverts, screen resumes, conduct interviews and assess candidates
• Maintain candidate information in database
• Condict reference and background checks
• Prepare and extend offers
• Track and report on key metrics, identify areas for improvement
• Other duties to support the talent acquisition needs of the business

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience sourcing, recruiting and interviewing
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field preferred
• Demonstrated ability to build and align strong teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, WorkDay and iCIMS are an asset
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
