As a Project Manager within the Research and Development Department at STEMCELL Technologies, you'll work with high visibility to build relationships and add value to the business. By applying project management best practices within STEMCELL's defined project execution process, you'll oversee the day-to-day tasks to ensure that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in scope.

Job Description

Core Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with project sponsors, senior management, and other internal and external stakeholders to align on project priority
  • Employ leadership skills to engage with subject matter experts from across the organization to ensure relevant project and design information is captured in project documentation and considered during the project lifecycle
  • Manage the overall project delivery through all stages from initiation to closeout, ensuring the approved project scope is delivered on time and within budget
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to identify and analyze project risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and produce and control project timelines
  • Present project updates to Senior Managers and Executives on a weekly and monthly basis

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • BSc degree with preference to life sciences or engineering fields; PMP accreditation is preferred
  • Minimum5 years experience managing medical device development projects; e xperience working in high compliance environments and familiarity with Quality Management System (QMS) preferred
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects and dealing with complex issues in a proactive manner and consistently meeting deadlines
  • Proven ability to mobilize, motivate and guide the team(s) towards a common vision and set of objectives; strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and gains cooperation of others across functional teams
  • Highly flexible, good tolerance for ambiguity and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities
