The Product Project Manager plays an essential role in growing talent in our business through collaboration and sharing best practices with the Merchandising & Planning team. You know how to be curious about their opportunities and how to be real with feedback and support.

We are looking for a dynamic and creative individual who identifies with our values and ethics to join our support team as a Product Project Manager. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with business stakeholders to manage complex product launches, which require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration with other teams.

The qualified candidate will have strong project management, partnership, and leadership skills. A proven track record managing concurrent projects and multi-disciplinary teams, delivering projects on time to meet the needs of the business.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Planning & Product Lifecycle, the Product Project Manager assumes the following RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Concurrently manage multiple product launches, special projects, product reformulations and product discontinuations
  • Lead multi-disciplinary project teams through all phases of the product life cycle, providing support, coaching, motivation, and inspiration
  • Ensure that product related projects are comprehensively planned and executed to support business goals while successfully managing internal stakeholders to meet key milestones and deadlines
  • Control and manage product launches and special projects following internal processes and tools
  • Work closely with SMEs and teams to estimate launch timelines and project plans
  • Partner with UK counterparts to request, collect and disseminate product information including global launch dates, product attributes and samples
  • Ensure changing timelines and project requirements are documented, understood, and clearly communicated to stakeholders
  • Drive for continuous improvement by streamlining processes and eliminating redundancy
  • Deliver additional projects, duties, and assignments as required
  • Ensure decision making related to product lifecycle projects support the broader commercial goals.

  • You bring the following QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A track record of delivering projects on time and on budget, while maintaining effective team and/or client relationships
  • 7+ years of project management experience
  • Defining project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Experience leading projects related to full product life cycle including product launches, product discontinuations, special projects
  • Developing full-scale project plans, project charters and associated communication documents to report project progress, providing frequent verbal and written progress reports on the status of projects providing action plans or recommendations
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools, best practices and processes
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, facilitation, dispute resolution, interpersonal and both verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to effectively coach, train, and provide work direction to other project team members
  • Organized, rigorous, detail-oriented and thorough
  • Self-motivated and self-managing; assertive and proactive.
  • Team-oriented: Personable and can work with team members one-on-one
  • Able to juggle multiple projects, clients and priorities concurrently
  • Able to adjust perspective from the big picture to a fine level of detail as appropriate

  • Preferred:
  • Formal Project Management or Business training and/or certification (PMP, Prince2, ITIL, Six Sigma, Lean, Scrum/Agile/Kanban, XP, etc.)
  • Experience with other Microsoft enterprise technologies, such as Microsoft Dynamics AX
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field, preferably Business or Supply Chain
  • Ability to develop and/or contribute to business analysis and business requirements gathering and documentation.
