TELUS Heath is looking for a qualified individual to be accountable for the planning & successful delivery of small to medium Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and hardware implementation projects with low to medium risk and complexity.Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together
Responsible for coordinating activities of the project team, identifying appropriate resources needed, developing schedules to ensure project is delivered on time and within defined scope, meeting or exceeding customer expectations. Applies project management techniques and skills combined with experience in a large complex business environment. Accountable to the project stakeholders and/or other project managers regarding project status. All deliverables are created according to current defined methodology and tools. The position reports to the Manager of Operations.Here's how
•Accomplishes the following duties with guidance: Manage all aspects of the project over the entire life (initiate, plan, execute, control, close)
•Define project scope and objectives, develop schedules to ensure timely completion of projects
•Ensure control of project: Dealing with conflicting priorities, issues, risks, dependencies and change
•Ensure deliverables adhere to quality standards
•Serve as single point of customer contact
•Communicate project details effectively
•Maintain updated information in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
•Assure 100% client satisfaction Qualifications:You're the missing piece of the puzzle
•Project management methodologies, principles and best practices at an intermediate level
•Understanding of communications and healthcare industry, with particular focus on health information technology
•Skilled in Microsoft (MS) Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
•Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
•Ability to work effectively cross functional teams
•Strong organizational and time management skills
•Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects and deadlines
•Capacity to assess impact of customer and user feedback on project/product maintenance requirements
•Ability to take initiative and work independently
•Creative and innovative thinker
•Post-secondary diploma or certification
•Actively working towards a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is desirable
•Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in information technology (IT) Great-to-have
