We are looking for a Manufacturing Shift Lead to join our dynamic team!

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ensure assigned tasks performed meet applicable safety standards, production specifications, and production deadlines.
  • Perform quality control checks by inspecting and measuring finished products to evaluate overall performance, reliability, and safety.
  • Support team members regarding hazard identification and ensure adherence to safety guidelines and company standards.
  • Liaise with the Manufacturing and Engineering Leads, to ensure scheduling needs are met, and obtain correct information to properly complete day-to-day tasks.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical ability, able to work effectively under pressure within a fast-pasted team environment.

Requirements

  • Fluent knowledge and experience with CAD software. i.e. SolidWorks, AutoCAD
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and mechanical designs and instruct production workers as required.
  • Experience supervising others is considered an asset
  • Comfortable using new software and technology
  • Minimum 5 years of industry or product related experience
  • Shift schedule flexibility, including rotating weekend shift work
