With a diverse array of positions and job responsibilities, Canfor Pulp is a great place to begin or advance your career. We are currently seeking Production Employees for our Hiring Pool and are looking for candidates who are interested in a growth opportunity in a production environment who will train in various areas of the mill site. This position involves manual labour and possible exposure to dusts and/or chemicals. Candidates in the Hiring Pool will be considered for opportunities at all three pulp mills in the Prince George area.

- Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
- Available to work shiftwork, as our mills operate on a 24/7 schedule
- A minimum of 2 years industrial work experience AND/OR equivalent training (eg. OFA3, grading ticket, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot
- Positive attitude and a self-starter
- Able to work in an industrial environment
- 3rd or 4th Class power engineering certification an asset
- Pulp and paper technical courses an asset
- Bachelor's Degree in Natural Resources or Science related discipline an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License is required
- Completion of Grade 12/GED
