Product Family
The Business Banking Platform Product Family owns the core platforms that enable the delivery and servicing of Business Banking products. The team is accountable for translating business strategy into prioritized product roadmaps and ensuring platforms are scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned to enterprise standards. Through strong product ownership and agile delivery, the Product Family supports business growth, operational efficiency, and effective risk management across the Business Banking portfolio.
The Cash Management and Deposits Product Group within Business Banking Platform is looking for a Product Owner to join the Billing Team. This role will lead the Run Billing Pod, which is dedicated to maintaining platform stability, identifying and solving production incidents and acting a point of contact for our internal business partners,
The team partners closely with business stakeholders, technology delivery, and control partners to deliver enhancements, resolve operational issues, and ensure solutions meet regulatory, risk, and performance expectations. The platform plays a key role in enabling accurate billing, consistent client experiences, and scalable support for Business Banking growth.

Job Description
- We are looking for a Product Owner to help support our current Cash Management and Deposit Billing capabilities
- As the Product Owner, your team will look to you to define, prioritize and ultimately approve what we release to production. Your work will affect hundreds of internal employees and thousands of end customers.
- Building our capabilities and supporting the existing billing platform will require you to work with multiple individuals/teams including:
- control partners (e.g. legal, compliance, operational risk)
- solution designers
- user experience designers
- developers
- testers
- Product group
- Excellent communication skills are a must as you'll spend a lot of time working with your Business Analyst to write stories, groom them with your team which will consist of both on-shore and off-shore resources & define unambiguous acceptance criteria.
- At times, you'll do primary research, soliciting feedback from internal end users directly
- You'll also have an opportunity to present your work to multiple internal teams, including at the executive level
- You will be a main point of contact for Business partners, will help define procedures and often leading the solution for operational issues
- You will effectively manage a development backlog and will promote work in line with business need
- Beyond building out new capabilities, we will look to you to:
- Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest
- Provide thought leadership and/ or industry knowledge for own area of expertise in own area and participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business unit
- Keep others informed and up-to-date about the status / progress of projects and / or all relevant or useful information related to day-to-day activities
- Present to peers/executives on a regular basis
- Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite
- Participate in defining our program roadmap
- Maintain understanding of partner and vendor roadmaps, and have an understanding of how these technologies can be leveraged to bring business value
Job Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or product management certificate and / or 2+ years relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience building out on-line capabilities in a Product Owner capacity
- Agile/Scaled Agile development experience is a definite asset
- Deep knowledge of Business Banking processes, products/services & customers (Cash Management and Deposit pricing and/or billing is an asset)
- Ability to lead, plan, implement and evaluate program/project activities to ensure completion of product initiatives
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technology stakeholders in both oral and written form
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams and functions
- Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently
