At the cross-section of Marketing, Strategy, and Finance, our team provides insight and direction for all TELUS TV products including Optik TV, Pik TV, and Satellite TV. As part of the TV Product Marketing team, we are a group of results-driven and dynamic professionals dedicated to meeting our customer's needs. Our goal is to continue to evolve in an ever-changing TV market through enthusiasm, collaboration, and data-based decision making.

Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together

As a key collaborator within the group you'll engage with stakeholders across the organization to achieve financial results and focus on strategic initiatives. Help us to bring concepts and plans to life by effective storytelling, making sound recommendations, and driving product improvements. You'll partner with teams across our Home Solutions team to develop strategic plans and enhance financial performance through financial modelling and analysis, understanding how to pull insights out of data, and communicating those insights effectively. A key in this role is having curiosity, a desire to tackle complicated problems, uncover issues, and make recommendations based on your findings.

Here's how
    •Develop and implement industry-leading product evolution and pricing strategies to maximize profit growth and retention
    •Manage various aspects of our TV portfolio to improve our key product KPI's, including customer experience, value for money, and profitability
    •Incorporate market research, likelihood to recommend research, and competitive intelligence to recommend initiatives that will support our customers-first culture
    •Progress competitive differentiation and benchmarking against TELUS' competitors, including non-traditional TV products such as apps & subscription services
    •Leverage your knowledge of financial concepts to create financial and marketing analysis for the TV portfolio, as well as business case development


Qualifications:


You're the missing piece of the puzzle
    •An ability to structure problems into achievable solutions, and lead projects from end-to-end to solve problems.
    •Valued for your 4+ years of experience in marketing, business, and/or finance, and knowledge of marketing frameworks (4 P's) and financial metrics in marketing
    •Known for your ability to find insights from data and communicate to all levels of an organization
    •Valued for your understanding of the TV marketplace and changing dynamics
    •Recognized for your collaborative attitude with project groups, ability to share a vision, and keep a project on track
    •With a passion for technology, analytics, and TV content with inquisitiveness and curiosity to learn more

Great-to-haves
    •MBA or equivalent experience
    •Experience or certificates in product management, strategy, consulting, or finance
    •Knowledge of TELUS cross-functional operations and/or industry experience
