Start Date: January 5, 2026

Reporting to the Practice Lead, Professional Practice Assurance with oversight from our Senior Specialist, Business Systems, the co-op will be responsible for the development and maintenance of Power Platform application systems in both test and production environments. As part of the Professional Governance team, the co-op will play a major role in finding opportunities to improve business processes using the Power Platform. Day-to-day tasks will involve identifying and resolving application issues and advancing as needed.

We are looking for a stellar candidate that is committed to delivering high-quality technical solutions, can thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy working closely with a team.

If you are not currently located in the area of this co-op position, you must be willing to either commute or relocate to the surrounding area for the entire duration of the co-op term. You must also currently be a student enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution and will be enrolled throughout the duration of the co-op term (you will also be returning back to the post-secondary institution once the co-op term is completed). Proof of a valid work permit will also be required, if applicable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • Assist digital makers with their Power Platform products (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, Power Pages)
  • Identify areas and processes where Power Platform and Microsoft 365 can be built and implemented for process improvement
  • Develop low-code applications and automate business processes with Power Apps and Power Automate. You'll connect disparate systems to Power Platform applications using various connectors
  • Continue evaluation of end-user adoption and collaborate with multi-functional technology and design teams
  • Maintain consistent and positive client interaction, and deliver timely solutions

Qualifications

  • Working towards a bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or Business Administration
  • Proven ability to learn new technologies and platforms quickly, accurately, and efficiently
  • Experience with coding, whether low-code or traditional
  • Previous experience with customer management and business analysis is preferred
  • Proficient communicator with strength in collaboration and relationship building
  • Ability to maintain a balanced, inclusive, and safe workplace, with integrity, and accountability
  • Demonstrable experience with business process redesign, including development of as-is and to-be states, including process diagrams and use of process diagram tools such as Visio

Pay Range: CAD $4,000 - $5,100 per month

The actual amount offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
