The Performance Analyst II supports the finance function for a key customer account.
In this role the Performance Analyst II is the key point of contact for monthly billing, monthly financial reporting, on-going financial analysis, and annual budgeting. The role allows a view of the account profitability and is a key supporting function in ensuring we are delivering our services cost effectively while continuing to drive revenue growth.Responsibilities
Maximize value creation by delivering innovative solutions and operational excellence by:
•Prepare a monthly variance analysis, monthly forecast
•Provide insight into monthly and quarterly performance
•Lead Month-end and Year-end Processes
•Lead annual budgeting and forecasting process key customer account
•Work within a cross-functional team to analyze existing processes and identify opportunities to drive continuous improvement
•Support Contract changes and renewal
•Support internal and external audits (e.g. customer external audits, PST audits, internal financial audit)
•Lead Monthly billing cycle Qualifications:Required Knowledge:
•Budgeting and forecasting models
•Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
•Knowledge of SAP
•Exposure or Experience with Tableau Desktop and Server Required Skills & Abilities:
•Enthusiastic self-starter with a willingness to take on new responsibilities and challenges
•Solid quantitative and analytical skills complemented by ability to understand the business context
•Excellent organization, accuracy, and attention to detail
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and on cross-functional teams in a pressured environment
•Excellent problem-solving and decision making skills with the ability to base decisions on sound financial and market assessments Required Professional Designation/Certification:
•Bachelor's degree in Business Administration preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
•CPA, CA, CMA, CGA and/or MBA an asset Required Experience:
•3-5 years of work experience in a cross-functional process improvement role
•3-5 years of work experience in a Financial Analyst role
