About our Client

Our client, a forward-thinking and long-running international leading provider of integrated minerals processing solutions, is looking for a friendly and well-organized Payroll coordinator to join their busy team of forward thinking, enthusiastic, results-driven and collaborative professionals, in their Downtown Vancouver hub on a permanent basis. Responsibilities

  • Assist with onboarding of new employees for USA and Canada by processing new hires in various formats, working with candidates to ensure paperwork is accurately completed
  • Assist with third party benefit enrollments (Canada Life/RRSP etc)
  • Assist in the preparation of insurance claims forms
  • Resolve Payroll enquiries
  • Ensure personnel files are maintained, up to date, scanned, and archived as necessary
  • Ad-hoc administration projects as required - participate in internal and external audits as required
  • Perform general ledger reconciliations of payroll clearing accounts as required
  • Make changes to employee payroll days in accordance with policy and procedure in a timely manner
  • Handle customer queries in a timely fashion in accordance with SLA's
  • Provide system support to users on timesheet entry when required

Qualifications

  • Current legislative payroll specific course
  • Minimum 5 years experience delivering end to end payroll
  • Experience interpreting EBA's/ECA's
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office suite - Word, Excel
  • SAP / ADP experience
