Role Overview
The Order Management Specialist is a key point of contact for our clients, responsible for processing and managing high volumes of customer orders while ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment. This role requires strong communication skills, a client-focused mindset, and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Process and manage high volumes of customer orders in line with client-specific SLAs 

  • Ensure 100% accuracy in all order transactions and documentation 

  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, delivering exceptional customer service 

  • Prepare quotes as required 

  • Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and expedite orders when needed 

  • Provide clients with shipping and tracking information 

  • Process returns, where applicable, efficiently 

  • Submit orders to the warehouse for fulfillment 

  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain order records 

  • Track and report on key order management metrics 

  • Escalate issues to procurement and warehouse teams as needed 

  • Prepare and deliver detailed, accurate reports for clients 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail 

  • Energetic, self-motivated, and team-oriented 

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 

  • Skilled at building relationships and supporting sales initiatives 

  • Reliable, adaptable, and positive under changing priorities 

 

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education; bachelor’s degree in a related field is an asset 

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), with advanced Excel skills required 

  • Experience with ERP or CRM systems 

  • 1–2 years of customer service or telephone experience preferred 

  • Previous administrative experience is a plus 

  • Familiarity with computer systems and components is an asset

Compensation: In accordance with the BC Pay Transparency Act the range for this role for BC residents is $48,000 - $56,000 annually. Please note the exact salary is determined based on a combination of your relevant experience, skill, competencies, geographical location and internal pay equity.
