Avigilon's Devices development team is seeking an experienced Optics engineer to join our camera development team.

Responsibilities include:
    • Work with third party vendors in new lens design, characterization, evaluation and integration onto CMOS imager sensor based camera modules; • Work with cross functional team in the integration of the lens/sensor modules onto our camera platforms; • Drive development of advanced metrology for lens/imager evaluations; • Work closely with lens suppliers for prototype design, evaluation and MTF testing.

    • The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience in the area of lens design, evaluation and integration; • Working knowledge of lens design software such as Zemax, Code V; • Image quality test experience; • Stray light analysis experience; • Experience in developing appropriate test charts and methods for lens/sensor evaluations.
