Job Description: 




The Network Engineer is in charge of network services such as WANs, LANs, radio data connections, and enterprise wireless implementations. The individual will be working in a team of engineers that are responsible for the company's private cloud and cybersecurity. They will also be in charge of current and improving firewalls. Another key responsibility is to contribute to the technology roadmap.  

They will need to be able to physically work on the Cisco gear as well as travel to both Canada and the USA


  • Timely response to issues affecting network services
  • Effective management and maintenance of all edge and internal security points, and the secure transit paths that utilize current and next-generation firewall technologies
  • Work with Incident Response Team to remediate all security incidents as directed
  • Coordinate with IT department groups on both reactive and proactive security remediation tasks and projects
  • Collaborate with management and IT department resources to assess near and long-term network capacity needs
  • Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records
  • Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the networking industry

Job Requirements: 


  • 5+ years of enterprise level network work experience as a network administrator or engineer
  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • IP networking technologies, switching and routing protocols, VPN and encryption technologies is a requirement HP Aruba technology
  • Problem-solving  attitude with strong attention to detail, along with impressive written and oral communication skills
  • Design, implement, manage and maintain the IT/OT infrastructure
  • Must Have a valid class 5 driver’s license and work permit to work in Canada
