The .NET/Delphi Software Developer is an experienced and passionate .NET/Delphi developer and will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications. This position works closely with the software testing and business analysis staff. This role requires someone who possesses the ability to develop clean software, strong problem-solving skills, and enjoys detail-oriented work. This position requires the ability to accomplish relatively complex coding tasks with limited supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

As a .NET/Delphi Software Developer, you will be part of an Agile Scrum team responsible for our Procura product for the Home Care and Community Health Care market. You will:

  • Participate as a full-time team member on an Agile Scrum development team
  • Design, code, test and debug highly complex software applications with a high level of quality from a defined set of specifications
  • Provide design leadership and assist in improving the knowledge and skills of the team through technical mentoring
  • Participate in code reviews to lead technical innovation in the areas of component re-use, extensibility, maintainability and scalability
  • Investigate new technologies and research ongoing industry developments
  • Make strategic technology recommendations to product management and business analysts

 Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Aware of industry trends and new software development tools and practices
  • Experience in Agile Scrum methodologies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to relay complex technical issues to a non-technical audience
  • 4+ years software development experience using robust development languages (C#, Delphi, Java)
  • Experience with front end technologies (Angular, React, Xamarin)
  • Experience developing SQL database applications, including query optimization
  • Degree or diploma in computer science or computer engineering
