About Highland Valley Copper
Highland Valley Copper (HVC) Operationsis Canada's largest open-pit copper mine and molybdenum operation. HVC produces both copper and molybdenum concentrate through autogenous and semi-autogenous grinding and flotation.
Located approximately 17 kilometers west of Logan Lake and about 50 kilometers southwest of Kamloops in British Columbia, the surrounding areas of HVC have an abundant offering of outdoor experiences.

Key Responsibilities
- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
- Participate in the health and safety programs of Teck to ensure that everyone on site goes home safe and healthy every day
- Manage aspects of the implementation of new maintenance strategy for our fixed plant expansions and modifications
- Work alongside OEM vendors and third-party consultants to design maintenance strategy and populate parts lists for our new fixed plant equipment
- Liaison between the Teck Project Development Team and on-site Operations and Maintenance experts
- Provide project support by generating work orders, initiating purchase requisitions, and developing Asset/Location Hierarchy within our EAM
- Provide supervision to crews in various weather, terrain, and locations on-site.
- Provide CAD drawings for new designs and as-built records
Qualifications
- Working towards an Undergraduate degree in Engineering or related field.
- Interested in maintenance and operation of heavy duty fixed plant equipment.
- Practiced at balancing competing priorities or projects.
- Able to communicate sophisticated concepts clearly and in a way a diverse audience would understandusing written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Familiar with MS Office programs and AutoCAD.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic industrial environment, both indoors and outdoors, and able to operate vehicles in various weather and terrain.
- Experienced in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems (desired, not required).

Pay Range: CAD $4833 - $5592 per month
The actual amount offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
