Job summary
AWS Migration Services is looking for a Migrations Billing Analyst to join our team and help our customers accelerate their migrations. As a Migrations Billing Analyst, you will analyze and verify AWS migration credits, investigate credit discrepancies, and insist on the highest standards for our customers. You will answer support queries from our customers and stakeholders, ensure that migration credits are accurate, and resolve concerns in a timely fashion. You'll use SQL, BI Dashboards, spreadsheets, and internal tools to deep dive into billing & credits to find answers and resolve customer queries.

Key job responsibilities
• Deep dive into billing and credit calculations and ensure their accuracy
• Respond to credit inquiries from stakeholders
• Obtain and analyze data from tickets, SQL databases, dashboards, reports, and other sources
• Maintain the highest standards around migration credits
• Identify issues and proactively call out operational challenges
• Take on ad-hoc projects to improve processes
• Proactively troubleshoot, solve problems and escalate as needed
• Partnering with key stakeholders to define, identify and influence the development of new initiatives

A day in the life

You will work on a team where you will be responsible for verifying the accuracy of migration credits. You'll analyze billing and migration credits, respond to inquiries, and insist on the highest standards for our customers. You'll work with key stakeholders from product, business, and engineering to improve process, resolve issues, and drive the future of migrations and migration credits.

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Educational background or similar experience in Technology, Finance, Accounting or related field
• Outstanding organizational, prioritization, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Knowledge of SQL language and ability to read/write basic SQL queries
• Experience working with Business Intelligence (BI) tools & Excel


• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Basic familiarity with AWS Services and Pricing
• Strong research skills.
