We are currently looking for a Marketing Campaign Specialistto join our team in Surrey, BC. The Marketing Campaign Specialist collaborates with sales teams, partners, vendors and your marketing colleagues to plan, execute and manage inbound and outbound marketing programs and assets that acquire and convert quality sales leads.This opportunity is a fixed-term contract ending April 2019.

Outcomes

Within the first 30 days you will
  • Understand how your role contributes to GroupHEALTH's vision and mission
  • Learn and understand GroupHEALTH's campaign processes, strategies, deliverables and stakeholders
  • Learn Marketing team processes, including queue management
  • Learn GroupHEALTH's people processes, and complete your corporate onboarding
  • Shadow the members of the Marketing team, to understand their needs and deliverables
  • Establish coaching and direction routines with the VP, Marketing & Communications

Within the first 60 days you will
  • Take responsibility for GroupHEALTH's existing campaigns and sales support practices, working with your Marketing colleagues to optimize output
  • Meet with key stakeholders outside the Marketing team, to understand their needs and deliverables

Within the first 90 days you will
  • Initiate at least two programs to drive GroupHEALTH's growth and/or improve our efficiency
  • Learn GroupHEALTH's product and service suite, and understand key sales and service processes
  • Meet with all key vendors to understand their role
  • Report to the organization on campaign results
  • Complete the first two CEBS e-learning modules to become familiar with the Group Benefits sector


In addition to joining a team that is focused on delivering the "WOW!" factor daily (while enjoying weekly yoga stretches, fresh fruit & vegetables, and lots of cake!), your Key Responsibilities will include:
  • Collaborate with Association, Business Development, New Business Development and HR teams to plan, produce and manage one-time and ongoing programs and campaigns
  • Plan, produce, manage and improve high-impact lead nurturing programs, using marketing automation software
  • Manage and improve digital properties and programs, including corporate websites and digital advertising, to increase lead generation
  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing team to produce appropriate content and design assets to support inbound and outbound marketing programs
  • Plan, produce, manage and improve in-force sales programs and campaigns
  • Report to the organization on the effectiveness of current inbound and outbound marketing efforts, including proactively implementing improvements
  • Source and exploit data and best practices to improve results of inbound, outbound and lead nurturing efforts
  • Other duties, as assigned


Education & Experience
  • Degree in Business, Marketing or Communications or a related discipline; or related experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a B2B marketing communications role, including both digital and print channels
  • Minimum 2 years experience with campaign and go-to-market processes and strategies
  • Minimum one years experience with marketing automation systems and processes (Marketo preferred)
  • Minimum two years experience with content management systems and SEO/SEM marketing strategies
