We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager - Wireless Planning to join the TELUS Business Solutions (TBS) Strategy & Planning team and work within our highly dynamic, agile, entrepreneurial environment. Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together

You will lead the Mid-Market/Enterprise Wireless Strategy & Planning team responsible for the annual, quarterly and monthly business and financial planning processes for the Business P&L.
You will also be responsible for leading strategic reviews, business case development, and deep dives towards executive decision support. Reporting directly to the Director - Business Strategy and Planning, you will also be responsible for leading and coaching a high performing strategic planning team.

Here's how
    •Lead the development of the annual and long-term financial plans
    •Lead or contribute to semi-annual strategy reviews/presentations
    •Set targets for and monitor performance of core KPIs (Gross, Deacts, ARPU, COA/COR, etc.)
    •Manage the monthly forecasting process and deliver monthly performance update to the Senior Leadership team
    •Lead, mentor and coach direct team members and collaborate with key stakeholders
    •Investigate changes to underlying performance, analyze key market shifts and size business impact of opportunities and risks
    •Develop scenario-based analyses and make strategic recommendations to the Senior Leadership team
    •Responsible for P&L stewardship and education within the marketing team, providing a critical perspective on the P&L impact of key initiatives
    •Build a strong partnership with Finance leadership team as well as planning teams for other segments


Qualifications:


You're the missing piece of the puzzle
    •Strong business acumen and a proven ability to synthesize business results into actionable insights
    •Highly proficient in business and financial analysis with deep Excel competence
    •Proven, self-directed, hypothesis-driven problem solving approach
    •Telecommunications expertise; wireless experience preferred
    •Consulting, strategy or finance backgrounds would be highly valued
    •University Degree and 7+ years of relevant experience (MBA preferred)
