BCLC's two offices are located on the traditional, ancestral and unceded lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam Indian Band), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Peoples in Vancouver and the Tk'emlúps te Secwépemc territory, situated within the Secwépemc Nation in Kamloops. Our Operations Division manages both provincial & national lottery games as well as instant lotteries through over 3000 retail partners across the province. We provide the gaming technology and set standards, policies & procedures across 37 casino properties in BC, ensuring a high standard of security and integrity.
We also provide online gambling through and our Lotto app including lottery, sports betting, Bingo, Keno, online slots or online casino games and Live Dealer table games where players can choose the online version of their favorite games while connecting with others across the province. Our Operations group is what makes it all happen, through day to day operations, project improvements, sales management, facilities, business intelligence and innovation.

This team of passionate professionals with a diverse array of backgrounds is directly accountable for earning revenue for the province. Job Summary:

The Manager, eCasino Products manages the strategic direction of the Casino Products category and is responsible for driving overall performance from both revenue generation and profit. This role leads a team of professionals, encouraging creativity, innovation and a critical focus on player experience, while understanding the external competitive market place in balance with requirements for integrity and responsible growth.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Manages a portfolio of products with accountability for overall strategy development, roadmap planning and content management for the casino category;
  • Manages business plans and significant budgets for operating, capital and direct costs for the product category. Closely monitors financial performance, presents performance updates to senior management, ensuring the appropriate initiatives are in place to meet divisional and organizational targets;
  • Provides leadership to a team of product specialist subject matter experts (SME), sets high level product line objectives, and prioritizes initiatives and resources across product lines to deliver the highest benefits to both our players and the business;
  • Manages a complex array of vendors in the delivery of eGaming casino products. Ensures appropriate contractual arrangements are maintained including the negotiation of contracts and monitoring of service level agreements;
  • Proactively responds to changing marketplace trends, identifying and advancing new opportunities that increase the competitiveness of;
  • Collaborates with other business units to leverage cross channel business and player opportunities;
  • Provides strong people leadership by championing BCLC's vision, mission and values, and drives culture and change management initiatives;
  • Models leadership behaviours that support engagement of staff, such as practicing meaningful recognition, inspiring personal growth, and facilitates both performance discussions and personal development of team members;
  • Cultivates strong, productive, and positive relationships with key internal stakeholders, as well as external stakeholders including vendors, service providers, and provincial gaming jurisdictions, in order to develop strategic partnerships to mutually achieve desired business outcomes.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Education and Experience
  • A degree in business, or related discipline;
  • 5 to 7 years' related experience including 2 years in a people management role;
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
Technical Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience, and proven results in the areas of product category management and business planning in a leadership capacity;
  • Strong team leadership and team building experience with a proven ability to motivate, coach and develop;
  • Demonstrated proactive and collaborative approach to identifying and resolving problems;
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment;
  • Results-oriented focus; self-motivated, assuming personal ownership and accountability;
  • High degree of business acumen;
  • Proven relationship cultivating skills;
  • Experience creating and refining business processes;
  • Solid understanding of website design and online platforms;
