The Brand Experience team is looking for a passionate technology leader to help support and scale our team. We are responsible for driving the holistic strategy of our brand narrative across telus.com, All Connected for Good campaigns and telus.com/about.

You are a passionate technology leader who will use your initiative, and experience leading delivery teams to be the guiding voice for your team. You can balance day to day workload with the demands of a fast paced agile team. You will manage the growth and development of a diverse team with varying digital skill-sets and create an environment that fosters collaboration and where results are delivered naturally.

Be a champion of team culture and happiness:

    •Prioritize team hiring, onboarding, and coaching as paramount to any other task •Drive team engagement and foster collaboration within the Digital team and across organizational boundaries •Share the vision and support a culture of high performance and continuous learning •Provide support, professional development, and goal setting for your team
Provide critical insights and thought leadership:
    •Partner with internal and external teams on strategic cross-cutting initiatives; influence teams within TELUS Digital on overall brand narrative strategy and direction •Support the development of holistic product roadmaps to drive improved customer experience, website sales conversion, and minimize operational overhead •Keep a pulse on industry best practices and continually challenge TELUS Digital against best in class
Support the development and delivery of cross-cutting products and capabilities that include:
    •Deep understanding of software delivery, from planning, through discovery, design, development, deployment, maintenance and iteration •Stand up and develop an analytics proficiency within this squad to measure effectiveness of tactics and value of outcomes driven •Strong stakeholder management with the ability to traverse complex stakeholder landscape and ability to manage conflicting priorities, bias for action and structuring ambiguous asks



Qualifications:

You're the missing piece of the puzzle
    •Someone who has successfully built, lead, supported and mentored a digital delivery team •Understands and has experience in enabling and getting the best out of others •You embrace all things digital and thrive in a fast paced agile environment •Expert in supporting Agile delivery teams with a diverse skill-set •Experience with API development and back-end systems integration •Experience with tools and technologies used for website management (i.e. CMS, eCommerce platforms, etc) •Experience working in a digital team and/or web development function; social purpose and brand analytics experience is an asset •Valued for your ability to foster collaborative working relationships, through leadership, embracing diversity and new ideas •Skillful in problem solving and resolving issues in creative ways, you can clearly see things from the perspective of customers •Noted for your adaptability, innovation and out of the box thinking, you are curious and never stop learning •At least 3 years experience leading teams and supporting team members •5+ years experience working in a digital team leading software development •Undergraduate degree in Business, Technology, Marketing, Engineering or other technical discipline
