You can effectively cope with change and "shift gears" comfortably. You speak clearly and concisely and can even be clearly understood when speaking on a "walkie talkie". With your strong mental acuity, and responsible, you can stay alert while driving for long periods of time and have the ability to comply with policies and procedures. Your teacher was wrong, you found a fantastic way to get paid to stare out the window!

As our Log Truck Driver, you are responsible for the safe operation of a logging truck within our Kootenay operations. You love both your own company and having the opportunity to play with trucks, so driving for long hours under varying weather, site, terrain and road conditions, won't be a problem.

Physically able and a self-starter, you install tire chains in winter conditions, perform pre-trip inspections and complete minor services including fueling, lubing and keeping your rig clean. You're in this for the long haul (though only driving short haul routes).If the wheels are turning, you're earning!

In a perfect world, you hold your Class One Driver's License and proof of all certifications, licenses and abstract. You have the ability to work varying shifts and possess a positive demeanour
