Job Description

Box Bus has immediate openings for full-time or part-time, permanent drivers.

This position requires your own mini-van, car or SUV. Excellent job for electric car owners.
You are driving your own car so N licences are acceptable.

Deliveries are within the Richmond, Delta, Surrey, Burnaby, Tri-cities, NW, Vancouver and North & West Vancouver but in one tight, dense zone each day, not all over the place. (Eg. Downtown, UBC and Kitsilano or South Vancouver and South Burnaby) 6:00 am start time, 8-10 hour days. Routes will be 100km or less. Shifts are available every day of the week. Part-time and Full-time where you customize which days are available.

Busy days have 100+ stops for $300+/day
Works out to ~$25-30/hour, more for top performers.
Essential worker position, so you'll have work even if another lockdown occurs.
Cargo is clothing. Light, small packages take up very little room.

Requirements:

Safety Vest (Class 2) (100% Mandatory at Warehouse, not on road, but I advise wearing a vest while delivering.)
Must provide a vehicle for the work. Minivan, Car or SUV. Excellent job for electric vehicles, light, small cargo.
Winter / All-Weather Tires (Not All-Season October-April)
Can safely get in and out of your van multiple times a day.
Have a smartphone with a data plan.
Have a valid BC Class 5 (standard license for cars) driver's license (No N)
Able to pass a criminal background check.
Excellent English communication skills.

Preferred:

1+ year of courier experience in the GVA.
Customer service background.
A can-do attitude.
Time management skills.
