Working closely with Sales Management and the Sales team, this role ensures consistent follow-up, proper timing of customer engagement, and effective coordination of opportunities generated through portfolio activity and service drive engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute lease and finance portfolio outreach strategies as directed by Sales Management
- Manage assigned portfolio customers from initial contact through appointment coordination and follow-up
- Engage customers at various stages of the ownership cycle, including lease maturity, early upgrade and retention opportunities
- Coordinate appointments and handoffs between customers, Sales Consultants, and Sales Management
- Support service drive initiatives by working alongside Sales Consultants who are actively engaging service drive customers
- Assist in identifying and nurturing upgrade and replacement opportunities originating from the service drive
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, activity, and outcomes within the CRM system
- Ensure timely follow-up and consistent communication with portfolio customers
- Collaborate with Sales Management to prioritize opportunities and align outreach efforts with store objectives
- When appropriate, and at the direction of Sales Management, manage select portfolio opportunities through the full sales process, from initial engagement through delivery
- Work in conjunction with Sales Consultants on assigned opportunities to ensure a consistent and professional customer experience
- Support the sales team by preparing customers for appointments and facilitating smooth transitions through the sales process
- Provide a high level of professionalism and product knowledge when engaging portfolio customers
- Ensure customers receive clear, accurate information regarding lease options, finance alternatives, and upgrade pathways
- Maintain a customer-first approach that aligns with BMW brand standards and dealership expectations
- Maintain organized and up-to-date portfolio records
- Track customer engagement activity, appointments, and outcomes
- Provide regular updates to Sales Management on portfolio activity and opportunity status
- Support management reporting requirements related to retention and portfolio performance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple customer relationships simultaneously
- High level of organization and follow-through
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Prior automotive sales, leasing, or customer retention experience preferred
- Experience working with dealership CRM systems; familiarity with Tekion is preferred
Success in this role is measured by effective portfolio engagement, appointment creation, retention outcomes, and overall contribution to dealership sales objectives.
