Lead Generation Specialist

Position Overview:  

Microserve is looking for a Lead Generation Specialist to join our Marketing Team.  If you are looking to join a thriving business, play a key role in new business generation, and grow in your career, this is the job for you!   


As a Lead Generation Specialist, you will identify new prospects, generate leads from our company website, various social media platforms and, create content that promotes Microserve's products and services. You will also use prospect databases, lead generation and marketing automation technology to achieve our Marketing objectives as well as build and execute programs to nurture our sales leads. 


One of the main responsibilities in this role will be for lead generation and nurturing leads to help develop awareness and interest in Microserve’s offerings.  This will be done through analysis, reporting and optimization of marketing campaigns and activities that feed quality leads to our sales channel. It involves creating reports, performing analyses from outreach/response tracking vehicles and analysing the results of promotions to make recommendations to better generate product demand and refine efforts. 


Your skills will set the stage to engage customers in our selling cycle. The successful candidate should be motivated to work independently doing B2B business development, will need to excel in outbound lead generation strategies, and should be comfortable establishing rapport easily with a wide variety of potential partners and stakeholders.  


Key Responsibilities: 

Campaign Management 

  • Research markets, identify key targets, and generate interest within prospective clients  

  • Develop a strong understanding of Microserve’s solutions, services and value proposition to effectively present them to prospective clients 

  • Position and market Microserve’s full range of IT solutions and services to prospective clients  

  • Create, develop and manage lead generation campaigns for Microserve’s service lines 

  • Create and plan email campaigns 

  • Supervise the effective implementation of marketing campaigns, recommend changes and modifications to various campaign data 

  • Document all campaign strategies and prepare all promotional activities 

  • Track and analyze campaign results and provide recommendations 

  • Supervise response handling and assist in campaign information distribution 


Lead Generation and Lead Nurture 

  • Prospect, pre-qualify, and nurture potential leads leveraging various sales and marketing tools and tactics 

  • Work with internal and external partners to define and execute a lead generation strategy to drive revenue according to company goals 

  • Ensure to update our CRM tool in a timely manner 


KPI Reporting 

  • Maintain all data and update management systems for various campaigns 

  • Understand and interpret lead generation data (metrics, target market data) to anticipate courses of action 

  • Understand and adhere to the KPI's that highlight operational efficiencies and marketing effectiveness 


Sales Liaison & Collaboration 

  • Collaborate with the rest of the marketing team to identify the right contacts for various marketing campaigns based on target firmographics and strategic industry segments 

  • Work with marketing managers and specialists to develop marketing campaigns and content to increase awareness and drive leads. 

  • Coordinate/liaise with internal clients (AMs, SMEs) and service lines to plan and fabricate marketing campaigns 



  • Minimum 2-years' experience in a similar role 

  • Relevant post-secondary education or degree in Marketing or similar  

  • Experience in running success marketing campaigns 

  • Proven track record of lead generation and nurturing skills  

  •  Excellent Project Management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail 

  • Ability to communicate with confidence and in a timely manner to C-level clients/internal staff members, both written and verbally 

  • Experience working in the IT industry is desirable; IT acumen is a must! 

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite  

  • Experience with CRM tools  

  • Ability to take initiative and be professional with customer interaction 

  • Organized and able to prepare and present tracking reports 

  • Ability to track and achieve KPI and data driven results 

  • Ability to prioritize and maintain lead follow ups throughout the sales cycle  

  • Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment 

  • Go-getter attitude with ability to work independently or as a team   

Sales and Marketing
