What we need you to do:

  • Set up, test and perform measurements using a wide variety of electronic and mechanical systems and electronic test equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, digital multi-meters, data loggers etc.)
  • Design, fabricate with high precision and maintain electronic equipment frequently used in opto-electronic R&D
  • Maintain machine shop and common research equipment (e.g. vacuum pumps, lasers, resistive and superconducting magnets, furnaces and evaporators) to industry standards
  • Operate and maintain large specialized and high-pressure equipment (e.g. Stokes pumps, helium recovery system)
  • Install, operate, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems
  • Prepare technical documentation describing the operation, configuration, and maintenance of specific experimental equipment and systems used in the research laboratories
  • Train other employees in the operation of equipment  and safety standards for experiments

What you bring to our team:
