Job Description
Our client is looking for a skilled Junior Accountant with strong Accounts Receivable and reconciliation experience to join their team. This role is ideal for someone ready to take on more ownership, contribute to month-end processes, and support broader financial operations.
🔹 What You’ll Do:
• Manage accounts receivable, including billing, cash receipts, and collections
• Perform month-end reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules
• Complete customer account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Oversee and review retail cash reconciliations
• Support monthly general ledger entries and close processes
• Assist with GST/PST filings and compliance
• Contribute to cost analysis and reporting during slower seasons
• Provide backup and light oversight for accounts payable over time
🔹 What We’re Looking For:
• 3+ years of accounting experience, with strong A/R and reconciliation skills
• Solid understanding of general accounting and month-end processes
• Experience with GL entries and financial reporting support
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Comfortable working cross-functionally and communicating with stakeholders
• Proficiency in accounting software (Sage 50) and Excel
