Looking for a number of qualified candidates for Joinery Bench work in the BC lower mainland and the Fraser Valley

To qualify you will need to have experience in commercial millwork. There  are a variety of different positions with some focusing on specialty wood joinery, solid wood machining, assembly and veneering. Other positions are a mix of laminate focused production with more use of MDF and other wood composites. If you have other skills in veneering or finishing etc. we will certainly take a look at that.

We are looking for a wide range of individuals but mostly focusing on candidates with formal training in joinery (preferably through an apprenticeship or post-secondary program). Ideally you have at least 5 years of experience using joinery skills in a millwork/custom woodwork operation. Preferably more years for some senior positions. One or two positions are senior specialists for very low volume premium custom work for specialty corporate/architectural millwork projects. The span of work is wide ranging and there are multiple locations as well. 

For all these positions, from intermediate to advanced, you need to be an organized, reliable individual that can read detailed drawings and also operate precision production equipment. You need to be able to work with shop drawings that are accurate and complete but intricate. To maintain established quality standards you must have an eye for detail and a proven math skills to interpret project specifications. To meet production requirements you will need to be able to work with the staff in our machining/CNC department on a daily basis. You will also coordinate your activities with other production staff to ensure that all project components are assembled properly in a efficient, safe and timely manner.
