IT Support Technician – Dilawri Group of Companies

Dilawri Group of Companies is currently looking to fill a position for an IT Support Technician based out of our Vancouver location for our lower mainland dealerships.  If you pride yourself with first-rate customer service, possess excellent interpersonal skills and are process driven, then this is a job for you!

The candidate must have vast capabilities in problem solving and be able to work under minimal supervision. Must be able to multi-task, work well under high pressure and meet deadlines in a punctual manner.   Please have a valid driver’s license as the position will require occasional travel within the lower mainland.

Daily activities will include but not limited to:

  • Providing helpdesk support to queries via email, in person, or phone
  • Assisting with troubleshooting and repairing of issues related to PC’s, Mac’s, peripherals, mobile devices and other applications both in person and remotely
  • Helping users minimize downtime and increase productivity
  • Contacting third parties as needed to resolve issues
  • Logging and monitoring support tickets and escalating issues when necessary

All successful applicants must possess the following qualities:

  • Certificate or Diploma in an IT related field
  • Have an interest in technology and a willingness to learn
  • Knowledge and understanding of various IT concepts and technologies
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with PC and Networks
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs
