IT Support Specialist Tier 1 / Tier 2, Victoria Office - Full Time Position

Job Description:

We are located in a newly renovated office that is near to many amenities

The ideal candidate enjoys a challenge, is eager to learn, passionate about technology, and has at least 5 years hands-on experience providing excellent customer service in an IT Support role.

You will work with a team under the supervision of an Account Manager to provide a full range of service desk functions including answering incoming technical support requests by email, telephone, or via assigned tickets.

With our flexible hours and on call schedule, there are opportunities to work in the evenings and on weekends.


  • You will be joining a managed services team that takes care of a group of corporate clients
  • Reporting to a Technical Account Manager
  • Days typically start early. Sometimes at client sites for infrastructure support, followed by work in our office, and on-site as needed throughout the day
  • Support day to day IT operations and client needs within a team environment
  • Infrastructure troubleshooting, updates, and monitoring within a team environment
  • Network and site documentation


  • Post-Secondary Education and/or IT Education and Certifications.
  • 5 years of experience supporting Microsoft Active Directory networks
  • Strong teamwork skills, work ethic, and integrity
  • Fluent Written and Spoken English with professional communication skills
  • A proven ability to diagnose hardware and software issues in person, via email, and over the phone
  • Aptitude to learn complicated technical systems in a team environment
  • A great attitude

Preference given to applicants with the below additional attributes:

  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, and Azure AD Connect
  • 3+ years of experience with object-based hardware firewalls from SonicWALL or Fortinet.
  • Reliable personal transportation with a Class 5 or higher BC Driver’s License
  • Direct experience with enterprise backup solutions such as Veeam Backup & Replication
