The IT Service Operations Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with Service Operations and Continual Service Improvement activities while providing input and feedback to Service Strategy, Design and Transition processes.

The role is responsible for adopting the ITIL framework to work effectively with Best Buy's processes, resources and organization while under a moderate level of guidance and direction from the IT Operations Manager, ITIL process owners, managers, and implementers.

The IT Service Operations Analyst will need critical thinking skills, strong communication skills, tactful problem-resolution skills and the ability to work with sustainable and scalable processes appropriate to the large enterprise organization that is Best Buy.

As an IT Services Operations Analyst, you will:
    • Support Service Operations and Continual Service Improvement operational priorities while developing higher level ITIL knowledge and process implementation skills • Facilitate ITSM-related meetings and other continual service improvement initiatives • Seek continual service improvement (CSI) opportunities, propose short-term and long-term CSI initiatives • Collaborate with different (business, technical, vendor, geographical) user groups to effectively implement ITIL framework processes through active communication and measurable improvements • Assist process owners and implementers with process issues encountered by personnel supporting Canadian infrastructure, applications and business processes. • Develop knowledge of common IT business systems and platform in multiple areas • Prepare tactical proposals to enhance current processes and tools based on data-driven feedback from stakeholders and customers • Apply a customer-centric focus to processes affecting planning, delivery, security and compliance • Provide input on meaningful ITSM process KPIs (key performance indicators) and metrics • Assist teams with building reports from multiple data sources to help manage ITIL discipline related work and assess business impacts • Research Service Now analytics, reporting capabilities and best practices • Provide feedback to Service Strategy, Service Design and Service Transition processes


What you\'ll need to succeed:
    • Critical Thinking • Strong communication skills • Tactful problem-resolution skills • Experience leading process improvement initiatives • Strong team-player • Open-minded, adventurous thinker • Analytical skills • ITIL Foundations is an asset • Certifications related to Business Analysis, Psychology or related process improvement
