As part of the Home Solutions PMO family you will be a member of a collaborative team that provides project management services to TELUS internal customers while securing implementation of best practices in the management of software development projects in both Agile and waterfall approaches. As an IT Project Manager II, you will have the opportunity to deliver projects across multiple application areas that provides critical services to our customers in the Home Solutions space.     •Expert in your Field: Manage medium to complex wireline and wireless projects within scope, on time and on budget utilizing waterfall and agile delivery methodologies •Proficient Planner & Deliverer: Collaborate with your team to plan and deliver projects while meeting business commitments ensuring delivery excellence in the Project Management Office (PMO) •Collaborative Communicator: Forge strong relations with Director portfolios, business partners, and Team Managers by maintaining effective written and verbal communications •Problem Solver & Risk Mitigator: Lead collaborative meetings on a regular basis to remove roadblocks, mitigate risks & issues, and develop action plans to manage change •Financial Whiz: Plan and manage project budgets in accordance with corporate financial policies and tools


Qualifications:

You're the missing piece of the puzzle
    •Respected for your 3 to 5+ years' experience managing all phases of moderate complex projects from $1M to $5M •Valued for your knowledge of project management principles and agile delivery methodologies •Skilled in Microsoft (MS) Project and MS Office applications to produce project plans, presentations, charts, graphs, and pivot tables •Solid SAP knowledge including a strong application in developing and managing project capital expenditures (CAPEX) & operating expenses (OPEX) budgets •Distinguished for your ability to successfully plan and deliver projects in order to meet business requirements •Valued for your ability to work effectively with various levels of management and cross functional teams •Commended for your interpersonal, communication, presentation and facilitation skills •Known for your ability to prioritize multiple activities while meeting deadlines •Confident with analyzing data effectively to resolve problems and enable decisions •Talented at cultivating relationships/networks and gain and use authority naturally •With a University degree in Business and/or relatable field
Great-to-haves
    •Agile methodology experience •Project Management Professional (PMP) certification •Project Management/PMP courses •Technology training/certifications •Knowledge of Resource Project Planner (RPP)
