Job Summary
The Team
The Order Management team, an established group of 7 members, oversees OCIO IT service orders, managing tasks like adding, canceling, transferring, and recovering orders in iStore and the new cloud-based platform, My Service Centre. They collaborate with Service Delivery Units, Ministry CIOs, and public sector clients to ensure accurate and timely IT service management.Our team is known for its amazing attitude and openness to change, consistently seeking ways to improve and streamline processes for our clients. The Role
In this role as a Senior Team Lead, Business Analysis, you will lead a team to ensure that business technology needs align with strategic plans while serving as the in-house Subject Matter Expert for the ServiceNow application. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring client needs are met throughout the life cycle of projects and proposals, directly impacting Ministry clients and the broader public sector.This position offers a unique chance to support and direct a team while being the product owner of ServiceNow, ensuring that Order Management's needs are addressed. You'll be at the forefront of leading technologies, making this an opportunity to be a catalyst for change and innovation.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a computer science related field and 4 years of related experience; OR
• Diploma/ degree in a computer science related field and 5 years related experience; OR
• Certificate or coursework degree in a computer science related field and 6 years related experience; OR
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Related experience includes the following:
• Experience providing business analysis for key front-line systems with complex interactive business processes and multi-ministry impacts.
• Experience with the installation, configuration, maintenance and problem resolution of hardware, software, operating systems, and network components.
• Experience monitoring project progress, resolves technical and logistical issues, identifies conflict for re-prioritization, prepares and monitors budgets and signs off deliverables as Qualified Receiver.
• Two(2) or more years of experience with financial systems and related processes.
• Two(2) or more years of experience supervising a team of business analysts including assignment of work, development and evaluation of performance plans and approval of leave.
Preference may be given to applicants with any of the following related experience:
• Experience with the Province's current order management systems and processes.
• Experience with the Province's current financial systems (MySC, Service Now and CAS).
• Experience in change and release management.
• Experience in managing relationships with technology vendors and third-party service providers.
